Conner Poster, LSW
I am deeply passionate about supporting individuals from all areas of life, providing a comfortable, compassionate, and genuine therapeutic experience where individuals can be themselves. I work with adolescents and adults exploring anxiety, OCD, ADHD, depression, relationships, personal identities, sexuality, trauma, and other areas of mental health; drawing on cognitive-behavioral and acceptance-based approaches tailored to what each client needs. I'm especially passionate about working with neurodivergent individuals and those with intellectual or developmental disabilities, including autism.
I care deeply about the therapeutic relationships with whom I work with, and believe that relationships are the foundation for growth and healing. My mission with each client is to create an environment grounded in kindness, vulnerability, authenticity, where we can work together. I like to meet everyone where they are at, valuing your knowledge of self, and working collaboratively.
With a Bachelor's in Psychology and a Master's in Social Work both from the University of Wisconsin, I incorporate a strong approach of social justice and broader systemic knowledge into my practice. My experiences have emphasized the uniqueness of every person, and the importance of building trust and deep connections. My approach reflects this, and I believe therapy is most effective when clients feel trust and autonomy. I am committed to learning and growing alongside you on your mental health journey.
