Matthew Lessack, LCPC, LMHC

Matthew (he/him) approaches therapy with the knowledge that life can be incredibly difficult and messy. It is his belief that providing a safe, genuine, and inclusive space is the basis of healing. His goal is to help you learn how to foster a new relationship with yourself and the people in your life. Matthew is dedicated to helping you explore how to hold yourself gently and with compassion while committing to bettering your quality of life. 

He uses Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, Existential, Trauma-Informed, Strength-Based and Person-Centered approaches to assist individuals experiencing trauma, PTSD, grief and loss, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD, chronic pain, life transitions, and self-esteem issues.

Matthew has several years of experience working with individuals of different cultural, racial, and ethnic backgrounds and is LGBTQ+ Allied. He is licensed in both Illinois and Indiana and is able to see individuals in both states. Matthew received his Masters in Psychology with a specialization in Mental Health Counseling at the University of Indianapolis.
